Swim Dynamics are aware that some families may be concerned about Coranavirus (COVID-19). We are being responsible and proactive as a small business and are monitoring the situation locally. We are following the advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health and will continue to work with the Peak Body and Industry Professionals.
If you are impacted by the virus we will provide credits for:
· Individuals under quarantine conditions with proof of recent travel
· Illness when a medical certificate is provided
For all other absences our standard policy applies.
There is currently no advice to limit the use of Public Places, including Public Pools, and therefore our Learn to Swim Classes are required to operate as normal. The health and safety of our Swim Families and our staff is of utmost importance so please know that any update on the use of these public facilities will be adhered to immediately. The pools themselves are stringently sanitised and individuals are advised to follow best practise for personal hygiene. More information can be found on the Department of Health Website
There are however different guidelines in place for people who have recently returned from travel so in line with recommendations from ASCTA/Swim Australia, credits will be available for anyone unable to attend a class due to illness or quarantine periods who can provide:
· Medical certificates or
· Proof of recent travel to affected destinations
While we understand that it is the choice of individual families to attend or not, we feel a need to remind customers of our cancellation policy:
Swim Dynamics cannot offer make-up classes, credits or refunds for classes missed by a student/client when it is out of our control (i.e. no-show).
This policy is in place as all our expenses remain the same (pool lane hire, instructors) regardless of your attendance each week which is why we have a term fee.
As previously mentioned, we are monitoring the situation closely, taking the advice from appropriate authorities and will update our swim families if anything changes.
